Manny (aka Manuel) is also very busy with structuring the band.  He says that running a showband of this caliber is hard work but he enjoys the challenge and would not have it any other way.  Working with these individuals is a pleasure.  I'm excited to start playing gigs in places where I've never been before.  It's like a new adventure for me.

Mike joined the Legacy team on April 7, 2011.  We checked him out on a solo act at a local coffee shop and we unanimously agreed that he'd make a perfect addition to the band as one of our front men.  Mike brings a fresh outlook with his jazz/folk style on acoustic guitar and has a vocal range that covers the spectrum of soulful ballads all the way to full-throttle rock.  Mike has done music professionally since age 12 as part of a Christian band as well as a tenor in city choirs.  He promises us:  "This is only the beginning!"
The Band is truly blessed to have Mike.
Pauline is a talented vocalist and percussionist member whose skills go beyond the music field.  She has done modeling in her days and had some schooling in law.  Her professionalism and being a mom is nothing short of extraordinary.  She is a busy person but still has time for her family and friends.  She is truly a one of a kind individual and The Legacy-Band is fortunate to have her as a band member.  Her background expands from California to Kansas where she has performed with Jazz bands and rock bands alike.  Lastly, she likes to do Karaoke whenever she can.  Pauline is currently on leave and may return as a special guest.
Saria:
This native of Colorado brings the country and soul side to our group.  Born into a musical family, she has always loved to sing.  Saria sang as early as age 8, but has been really harnessing her talent for the past 5 years.  We've been wowed by her sweet yet commanding vocals inspired by The Judds and Martina McBride, but she takes the best from many diverse vocalists and made into the clean sound of her own.  Saria sang in 4 bands- one of her favorites included "Sarial," as the lead vocalist.  She's got the brains and the brawn: Saria is a realtor here in Colorado Springs and makes very informed decisions within the band; when not doing music, you can find her in gym practicing kickboxing- and we DON'T mean Tae Bo.  Now she is one of the powerhouse vocals behind The Legacy-Band.  Thanks for all you have done Saria!
Anthony (Cool Breezz) Lobato
Anthony Lobato is a talented multi-instrumentalist. He paid his dues as a young man while touring the Southern "Chitlin Circuit", which obviously influenced his style of "Brown Soul". Anthony plays Alto, Soprano Saxophones, Timbales, Bongos, Conga's, Keyboards and Vocals. He is experienced in many musical genres including: Funk, Soul, Smooth Jazz, and Latin Rock. Anthony says he's been blessed by being able to play music because it has enabled him to travel and meet many interesting people while thoroughly enjoying himself and getting paid is icing on the cake!
Joe Ransier has been playing music since he was eight years old. Beginning with piano lessons, he quickly learned to love music. At twelve years old he began playing guitar and bass guitar. He found his passion. At fourteen he began playing tuba, and soon switched to euphonium in the Pine Creek High School Marching Band. Soon after this he bought his first recording interface and began writing and recording his own music. Thus far he has recorded three hours and forty minutes of material. At eighteen he cofounded the heavy metal group Zombacalypse. After playing the bar scene briefly the group dissolved. During this time Joe interned with front of house engineer Matt Stoneback at the Red Rock Church. He did freelance audio engineer work for various Colorado Springs based bands. At nineteen he took a serious interest in producing his own music. Now, Joe is a part of the special blend band as their bass player. He is excited to begin this new chapter in his musical journey!

Kaui comes from Hawaii. She comes from a musical family background with many famous entertainers in my bloodline, including a relative who wrote the Hawaiian Wedding Song. I grew up singing in a church choir learning and teaching choreography. I was a Hop-Hop dancer and teacher with the high school dance team coach. I choreographed Denver original coyote ugly and worked with the Denver Nugget Basketball dance team.
I pursued my career to a series on MTV called "Making the Band" part 2 and part 3. After the series, Taquita and myself established a new series called "Taquita and Kaui". I am currently songwriting, recording, and have recently joined with the Legacy Band. I am also involved with motivational speaking, photography, learning acting, teaching the art of dancing and learning to play the drums.
Gilbert is will also be a featured guest with Legacy. He helped establish The Special Blend Band back in the 80's in a place called Alamosa, Colorado located in the San Luis Valley. His voice has been known thru out the region since then.  Legacy is very fortunate and honored to have him come in and perform with us.
Bill-
I began plalying trumpet back in the fiftys at Washington School in Walsenberg Colorado where I was born. I started playing in the school band until I graduated in 1960. Shortly after starting work at the State Hospital in 1962, I met a musican named Gene Ayala, a singer and keyboard player who hired me to play in his band The Taurus Band. Soon afterwards a musican named Sam Lucero, a singer and guitar player, joined our band and the three of us played together for 20 years +. Most recently I have met Zach Bernal who has played with Malo and others in the professional arena who have inspired me to play with The Legacy-Band.
I would like to also mention that I have realized I have a loving wife who has allowed me to continue on with my music.  The Band is also fortunate and grateful that she has the understanding.
